About Ellen Callinan
I have been promoting librarianship since childhood. As the daughter of a librarian, I railed against the stereotype even before I became a librarian, knowing that it did not reflect the reality of the interesting, funny and energetic librarians I knew growing up. I have always worked in and around libraries, from my days as a student assistant in college and law school to my years as a law firm and academic law library manager.
After more than twenty years of working in law libraries, I decided to carve out my own niche as a library consultant. I believe that I can share the knowledge I've gained throughout my career with other librarians who simply run out of time to achieve the high goals they set for themselves and their teams.
